INSPIRATION FOR THE  BOOK TITLE

Matthew 21:42

Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: "’The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

Have you ever seen someone sorting out beans, the suitable to be cooked and the rest thrown away? Do you realize that the beans selected as suitable are the ones cooked and all life in them is gone?

The rejected ones, if thrown away, germinate again and new life comes to them. Hence don't despair, when you look at an opportunity as gone by you, just remember that where you are, you can germinate and become a more suitable and productive person.

The above verse was the inspiration for the title and content of my book, “The Discarded Brick – An African Autobiography in 26 Countries on Three Continents.
